Cheesy tater-tot Hot dish
one dish hotdish

1LB ground beef (lean if you want to save on fat)
Cooking spray
Lg. casserole pan with lid or cover with tin-foil
Lg. bag of seasoned tater-tots
1 sm. Bag frozen peas or your favorite frozen veggies
1 lg. bag shredded sharp cheese or Colby blend (reduced fat cheese works)
2 cans Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup. (reduced fat works)
1 can (use soup can) milk (any milk on hand will work)
1 can (use soup can) water
Salt and pepper to taste
½ TSP. garlic powder or to taste
2TBS. onion powder or to taste

Brown ground beef in sprayed fry pan till done. In a sprayed casserole pan add the browned meat, soups, 1/2 cheese ½ of the tater-tots water, milk, veggies and all the seasonings. Stir together gently as to not crush the tater-tots. Top the contents with other half of tater- then sprinkle remaining cheese. Bake at 350◦ covered for 1 hour or till the hot dish is bubbling, warmed all the way through. For diabetics it has 74 grams per one cup servings (the tater-tots make this dish high in carbs). The hot-dish is very good warmed up too. This will make a very big pan full.
