Lela's Lasagna

2 cups Milk 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese 3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese 2 Egg Yolks 4 Tbls. Butter 1 lb. Ground Beef 3 Tbls. Flour 1 Tbls. Sugar 1 Box Lasagna Noodles 1/2 cup Water 1/4 tsp. Pepper 1 tsp. Salt 1 1/2 tsp. Oregano 1 can Tomato Paste 3 1/2 cups fresh tomatoes or 2 1/2 cans chopped tomatoes 1/4 cup Olive Oil 6 sprigs Parsley 1 Clove Garlic 1 large Onion 1 small Onion

Tomato Sauce: Chop the large Onion, parsley, garlic. Add to pan with olive oil and saute.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt, pepper and water.
Brown ground beef in separate pan.
Add ground beef to tomato sauce and cook for 10 minutes.
Cheese Sauce: Chop a small onion, saute in melted butter, mix in flour, parmesian and gradually stir in milk. Cook sauce on low heat until sauce looks like heavy cream.
Beat egg yolks and add to hot cheese mixture - cook sauce for 10 minutes.
Layering: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Grease 13x9 pan.
Layer noodles, tomato sauce and cheese sauce and repeat.
Bake for 20 minutes and then set oven to broil.
Add mozzarella cheese to cover and broil until lightly browned.
