No Boil Lasagna An Easy and Cheesy Dish! |

1/2 package lasagna noodles 1 lb ground meat 3 cups cheese (mozarella or an Italian blend or both!) 1 jar spaghetti sauce 1 small can tomato paste-optional Italian season to taste (garlic, basil, oregano and a little sugar work best for me) A dash or two of Tabasco-optional Deep casserole dish Enough foil to cover the casserole dish 1 small can mushrooms, 1/2 small onion for chunky lasagna-optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Brown and season meat. (I rinse the meat before seasoning so it's less fatty.)
Mix the pasta sauce, tomato paste, hot sauce, and seasoning. In the casserole dish, smear a little sauce all around the edges and line dish with noodles, bottom and sides.
Add 1/2 of each; the sauce, meat and cheese. Add second layer of noodles and repeat. Top with extra cheese if you like.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Let sit, covered for 15 minutes after baking. Enjoy!
