Sausage Pie
The Kids will Love This!!
Sausages
Onions
Tinned Tomatoes
Water
worchestershire sauce
Gravy powder or Corn flour
Potatoes
Milk
Butter or Margarine

Put Sausages and onions into a pot of water. Bring to boil.

Cut sausages into smaller pieces. Add tinned tomato, a good dash of worchestershire sauce and any extra flavours you want to go into it (garlic). Simmer for 30 minutes.

Thicken up by adding gravy powder or corn flour.

Whilst you are doing the sausage preparation, boil some peeled potatoes in a separate pot.

When well-cooked, drain and mash with butter (margarine) and milk.

Put Sausage mix into an oven proof dish (eg baking tray) and then spread mash potato on top.

Place it into a hot oven until it is golden brown on top.

You can also sprinkle with grated cheese if you wish.

This recipe is very versatile and is very very tasty. When ever I make it, I always make a huge batch so there will be some for the freezer for a quick and easy meal sometime, but none ever gets to the freezer because the kids eat it all and always look for more.
