Turkey Meatballs

|
1 lb. ground turkey 1/2 cup salsa 1/4-1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 2-3 cloves minced garlic 1/4 cup bread crumbs or quick oats 2 Tbls. Italian seasoning 1 28oz. can favorite tomato sauce 1 cup shredded mozzerella cheese

Mix all ingredients except tomato sauce and shredded mozzerella. Form meat mixture into golfball-size meatballs. Brown on stovetop on fairly high heat. Do no worry about cooking through.
When browned, add tomato sauce and transfer to 350 degree F. oven and bake covered for 30 minutes. Remove cover, add shredded cheese and bake another 10-15 minutes, uncovered.
Makes approx. 16 meatballs.
Enjoy!
Great with spaghetti or as a stand alone dish. Try topping with ricotta or cottage cheese.
