1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 cup shortening 2 eggs 1 medium banana, smashed 1/3 cup milk 1 tsp. lemon juice
Frosting: 2 Tbls. margarine 2 cups powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 banana, smashed
|
Comine all the ingredients for the bars and beat for 2 minutes. Bake in a greased 9x13 pan at 350 degrees F. for 25 - 30 minutes.
If using a 13x18 bar pan, double all the ingredients for both the bars and the frosting.
Frosting: Beat all ingredients together until smoothy and creamy. Use a little bit of milk to thin, if needed, to get to spreading consistency. Frosten bars when they are cooled.
Enjoy!
