Captain's Brownie Drops Yummy Cookies! |

2 pkgs. (4oz. each) Bakers German Sweet Chocolate 1 Tbls. butter or margarine (65 percent for baking purposes) 2 large eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. salt, pinch 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts, your choice 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt chocoalte and butter or margarine in top of double boiler, over hot water, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar, 2 Tablespoons at a time, beating constantly until thickened and light in color, at least 5 minutes with electric mixer, longer by hand.
Add and blend in the chocolate mixture. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt, blend well.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls, I use a melon scoop, on to a greased baking sheet.
Bake in a moderate 350 degree F. oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies feel set. Remove to racks. Cool for 2-3 minutes and then remove to a cool flat surface covered with wax paper.
Cool fully and store in a tight container.
