Christmas Cutouts
A Recipe My Children Love |

2/3 cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup quick oats
|
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add flour and oats.
Roll out on a floured surface.
Cut desired shapes
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 7-10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Frost with your favorite frosting
I use a hard sauce recipe from my Mother-in-Law.
