Double Chocolate Chewies

1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 egg
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup slivered almonds or pecans
|
1. In a large mixer bowl, combine cake mix, egg, wter and melted butter. Beat on low speed for 1 minute or just until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips, cranberries, and nuts. Mix well.
2. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 1 minute then removed to racks and cool completely.
