Greatest Ever Granola Bars Deliciously Healthy Snack! |

3 cups (750 mL) rolled oats 1 cup (250 mL) chopped nuts 1 cup (250 mL) raisins, dried apricots or sweetened dried cranberries 1 cup (250 mL)sunflower seeds or trail mix 1 cup (250 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional) 1 can (300 mL) Low Fat sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup (125 mL) butter, melted

Line a 15x10 inch (2L) jelly roll pan with parchment paper (this makes clean-up a snap).
Combine oats, nuts, raisins, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips if desired, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Mix well. With lightly greased hands, press evenly into prepared pan.
Bake in a preheated 325 degree F. (160 C) oven for 25-to 39 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely then chill. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature in an airtight container.
Note- Nut alternatives include: soya nuts, dry cereals such as Rice Krispies, Special K, corn flakes, puffed wheat etc.
