Mum Lewis's Jam Drops

3/4 of a cup of sugar 2 Cups of flour 1 Egg 1/2 lb of Butter 2 tsps Baking Powder Jam of your choice (plumb is nice)

1) Cream Butter and Sugar 2) add egg then sifted flour and baking powder 3) roll into small balls and make ahole in the centre, and fill it with jam 4) Flatten the sides alittle with a floured fork 5) Bake in a moderate oven for 10 minites or until light brown
