Soft 'N' Chewy Brownies
If You Have A Weakness For Chocolate. . . |

2/3 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
**Add 1 cup chopped nuts if desired**
|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour baking pan 13x9x2 inches.
Melt shortening and chocolate in large saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat.
Mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
