Speedy Shortbread Biscuit |

12 oz. Flour 8 o.z Butter 4 oz. Granulated Sugar A little caster sugar to dust

Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and using a paddle attachment on your mixer beat all the ingredients together until they form a nice pliable dough.
Using a metal flan ring, by hand, press the dough into the ring.
Mark the edges with a fork and liberally prick the rest of the dough.
Bake in the oven on the bottom for about 15 minutes on gas mark 4/5.
Then to finish, cook for a further 5/10 minutes on the top shelf.
As soon as you remove it from the oven take the ring off. Cut into required portion size and dredge with caster sugar.
