Adam's Apple
An Apple for the Teacher! |

1 firm red delicious or other apple
1 rounded Tbls. raisins
1 level Tbls. brown sugar
1 level tsp. cinnamon
1 rounded tsp. sour cream
1 Tbls. chopped walnuts, opt.

Core out the apple but not all the way through.
Mix together remaining ingredients and stuff cavity in the apple.
Wrap in clear plastic wrap and pierce in several places to allow for the escape of steam. Place in the center of microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Remove and allow to stand as it will keep cooking for a little while and cools.
Serve as individual desserts with a dessert spoon. Top with a glob of whipped cream for garnish, if desired. It's also great with vanilla ice cream on the side!
