Caramel Bananas

4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup castor (powdered)sugar
2 Tbls. water
1/2 cup thickened cream
|
Gently heat butter in pan, add the sugar and the water and stir over heat until sugar dissolves. Do not boil at this stage. Stir in cream, bring to boil and add bananas.
Serve with ice cream.
