Chocolate Spicy Macaroni
Cajun Holiday Treat
2 16 oz. boxes macaroni
2 cups butter
2 pounds dark chocolate
2 pounds milk chocolate
6 cups milk
2 Tbls. cayenne pepper
8 oz. Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 tsp. salt

Cook macaroni according to instructions on box, drain and set aside.

Break chocolate into small chunks. Heat milk over medium heat and slowly add chocolate and butter, stir constantly until all the butter and chocolate is melted, add salt, cayenne pepper and hot sauce.

Remove mixture from heat and continue stirring until smooth and glossy.

Dump cooked macaroni in large mixing bowl and immediately pour in the chocolate mixture. Stir well and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Toss lightly, making sure the macaroni is evenly coated. Serve immediately.

My family enjoys this treat especially at Christmas and we usually serve it with hot cider (with a rum spike for the adults) and thin breadsticks.
