1 cup flour 1 cup white sugar 1 1/2 t baking powder 1 cup milk dash of salt 1 1/2 cups pitted and chopped dates 1 cup chopped walnuts (pecans)
1 1/2 cup water 1 cup brown sugar 1 Tbsp. butter

Combine first seven (7) ingredients and pour into buttered 9x13 in. pyrex dish. Combine water, brown sugar and butter; bring to a boil. Pour over UNCOOKED batter. Bake @350F until done ~45 min to 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream. DELICIOUS AND RICH!!
