Homemade Oreo Ice Cream

1 half gallon any brand vanilla ice cream
1 8 oz. container any brand cool whip
1 package any brand oreo-like cookies
|
Begin by thawing out cool whip, and let ice cream get soft, just soft enough so that it slides out of the container easily. Crush the cookies while they are still in the bag. Mix all three ingredients together in a large bowl...and put back into the ice cream container. Refreeze.
