Jim's Pineapple Cheese Pie

1 20oz. can crushed pineapple 1 large box pineapple jell-o 2 regular size tubs cool whip 1 9-inch pie crust, ready to eat 1 regular size tub cream cheese

Drain juice from the pineapple and set the fruit aside.
Dissolve the jell-o in the juice and microwave it for 2 minutes. Let cool.
Mix 1 tub cool whip with the cream cheese and pineapple fruit.
Mix the jell-o into cream cheese mixture.
Pour into the pie crust and refrigerate for 4-5 hours.
When ready to serve, place a dollup of cool whip from the other tub.
This recipe can also be used as a dessert in pudding bowls.
