MILKY BALLS
RICE BALLS IN MILK
Milk and dairy products are nutritious and good for health. Milk contains essential elements like phosphorus, iron, zinc, magnesium etc and Vitamins A, B-series and C. One glass of milk alone can provide all the necessary elements to the body. In short, Milk is Balanced diet.


Rice Flour : 1 Cup
Milk Powder : 1 Cup
Condensed Milk : 1/2 Cup
Whole Milk ; 3 Liters
Sugar : 2 Cups
Cashew Nuts : 100 grams
Thin one inch Coconut Slices :1 Cup
Cardamom Powder : 1 Tea Spoon
Clarified Butter : 250 ml

 

1. add rice flour and milk powder together. Mix well. Prepare a thick dough adding condensed milk.

2. Prepare one inch round balls with the dough and keep aside.

3. To a frying pan add two spoons of clarified butter and heat. Add the cashew nuts and coconut slices and fry till they turn golden brown. Take them into a plate and keep aside.

5. Take a deep bottomed vessel, add three liters of whole milk and boil until the volume reduces to half.

6. Add the rice balls, sugar, fried cashew nuts and coconut slices. Stir well and simmer on medium flame for a while.

7. Add cardamom powder and remaining clarified butter and mix again just before removing the vessel from the stove.

8. Serve hot.
