Polish Nut Roll
An Old Recipe!
10 cup of flour
2 packs dry yeast
1 1/2 cup warm milk
1 pint sour cream
1 lb butter
6 eggs

Mix 4 lbs. of finly chopped nuts and 4 Tbls. vanila and enough milk to make it spread on dough.

 

Mix together the yeast and milk and let sit 5 min. Mix the rest. Add yeast mix. Mix together well and let rise in a very warm place for about 1 hr.

Knead the dough and make 9 inch ball out of it. Roll out to very thin and spread with nut mix or poppy seed. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35min.

Baste the top with an egg white, so it doesn't break when cut.
