SAGO KHEER
A Sweet Sago Preparation With Milk
500 grams Sago (normal size).
300 grams of Sugar.
100 grams of Cashew nuts.
100 grams of Raisins (Currants).
1 liter whole Milk.
2 cups Condensed Milk.
2 spoons Cardamom powder.
100 grams Clarified Butter (ghee).

 

Take Sago in a thick bottomed vessel, add 2 cups of water and 1 spoon ghee.Cook until the sago becomes transparent. Add one liter of Milk and Sugar and cook further.

Take a pan, add ghee and heat. Add the cashew nuts and the raisins and fry until brown. Add these to the main preparation. Now add the cardamom powder and the condensed milk, stir well and put off the flame.

SERVE HOT OR COLD.
