Soda Scones Easy and Quick Scones Using Soda Water |

4 Cups Self Raising Flour 1 Cup Cream 1 Cup Soda Water 1/4 Cup Icing Sugar 1/4 tsp. Bi Carb

Sift together flour, icing sugar and bi-carb 2 times for extra airation.
Mix soda and cream together.
Add cream/soda to flour mix.
Stir thru with butter knife, mix only till just combined.
Tip out onto floured surface, flour hands and top of dough.
Press out gently with palms till about 1 inch high. Cut into 12 with butter knife, shape and place so touching on flat tray.
Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees C.(390 F) and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Add 3/4 cup of Chocolate chips or saltanas, etc. to add flavours or for savoury pumpkin scones replace the cream for tin pumpkin soup.
