Wattalapam (Coconut Custard)

5 eggs 250 grm. Golden syrup 400 ml. Coconut mailk Pinch of: cardomums, cinnamon, nutmeg 50gms Cashewnuts
|
Lightly beat the eggs, mix the golden syrup and coconut milk. Add the beaten eggs into the mixture a little at a time and continue to beat. Add all spices and pour into a heat proof bowl. Place in a moderate oven for 170 degrees C for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cashew nuts after or before baking.
