Red Wine Lamb
Lamb Leg Roasted in Red Wine!
1 Leg of Lamb
3 Tbls. Liquid Honey
1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 - 1 Cup Red Wine
1Tbls. Dried Rubbed Rosemary
1 1/2 Tbls. Crushed Garlic

For Gravy:
3 Tbls. Of the cooked sauce from Lamb
2 Tbls. Plain flour
1 cup Vegetable stock or Water

Prepare lamb leg, in an oven dish, by making small cuts into it with a sharp knife.

Rub garlic over the lamb leg and squeeze some into the cuts made, covering completely.

Pour on honey and rub again. Make sure it covers all parts of the leg.

Pour over red wine and the worcestershire sauce. Then sprinkle on the rosemary. Rub all ingredients well into the leg.

Cover and marinate for at least 4 hours, before cooking. For better taste, marinate for 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.

Put lamb in the oven and increase the temperature to 300 degrees F.

Roast for an hour, then increase heat to 350 degrees F. Let cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours more or until tender.

For Gravy:
Take 3 Tbls. or more from the cooked sauce from the lamb. Pour into a pan and add the flour. Mix well.

While heating up, add water and whisk the ingredients, to get rid of any lumps. Cook until thick.

Serve hot with the leg of lamb.

Enjoy!
