|
2 red ripe apples 1/2 cup sugar teaspoon cinnamon 2 cinnamon sticks Water- about 2 cups
|
Bring water to a boil. While waiting for water to boil, chop apples. Do not peel, but do not add the core in. Once water is boiled, place apples and cinnamon sticks into the water. Let boil for 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Strain the apples from the water if any left over. Put into round bowl and using a bread kneader mash the apples until consistency of apple sauce. Add the sugar as needed as well as the cinnamon.
