Rainer's stuffed Tomatos

6 large tomatoes 1 cup bread crumbs 3 Eggs garlic to taste Parsley to taste black pepper 1 lbs ground beef 1 envelope onion soup mix 1/4 Cup olive oil
|
Take the tomatoes and slice the bottom off (the top of the tomato provides more stability in the pot so they do not tip over). Carve out the insides and put them in the pot as well. Mix bread crumbs, Eggs, garlic, Parsley, black pepper, ground beef, and onion soup mix together and fill the tomatoes. Place the tomatoes in the pot with the olive oil and the tomato seeds and let it simmer at 210F for 60 minutes.
Goes well with Steinbauer's Kartoffelsalat
