Crazy Good Pasta
with a chunky sauce for your noodles
1 box your favorite spaghetti
1 jar Hormel bacon bits (3 oz)
1 small jar olive tapenade (about 4 oz)
2.5 oz pine nuts
1 tsp your favorite hot sauce
1 Tbsp cream (optional)
water as needed

Slowly toast pine nuts in a dry pan, stirring to prevent burning. When nuts have a little color and begin to smell stronger, turn heat to low and add bacon. Stir together and let cook for 2-3 minutes to render any fat.

Add tapenade, and fill empty tapenade jar with water. Add this water and repeat as needed to loosen the density of the sauce during cooking.

Add hot sauce (feel free to add extra for spicier taste). This will help balance the saltiness of the other ingredients. Add cream here if desired.

Allow to cook for 10-20 minutes on low to evaporate any excess water.

Cook your pasta, top with sauce and serve.
