FETTUCCINE WITH CREAMY PUMPKIN SAUCE
Give pasta night a new twist
16 ounces dried fettuccine
1 can (12 ounces) fat-free evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 can (15 ounces) solid-pack pumpkin
1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup toasted pine nuts (optional)

 

Preparation Time: Approximately 10 minutes

Cook Time: Approximately 10 minutes

Preparation:
Cook the fettucine pasta according to the package directions. While the pasta is cooking mix the milk, butter, pumpkin, onion powder, garlic powder, sage and salt in a saucepan; cook over medium heat until simmering. Stir in the cheese. Drain the pasta, toss with the sauce and garnish with the pine nuts, if desired.
