The Best Spaghetti Ever!
8oz. spaghetti noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion
1/2 medium green pepper
1 Tbls. minced garlic
*1 small (4 oz)can or 1/2 pound of fresh mushroom pieces
1 26.5oz. can of your favorite brand name spaghetti sauce
2 tsp. salt, divided
1 Tbls. white sugar
1 Tbls. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. chili powder
pepper to taste

Prepare noodles as per directions on package. I add a little salt and some vegatable oil to the water to help the noodles not to stick.

While the noodles are cooking brown ground beef, garlic, onions, and green pepper together in a regular 6 quart pot (dutch oven). Drain.

Add all other ingredients to sauce and simmer for as long as you want. The longer your sauce simmers, the more the flavorfull your sauce will be.

If you are in a hurry to get dinner done, increase the temperature on the sauce to medium heat and stir often. Make sure you put a lid on your pot so that your stove top doesn't get covered in stray sauce!
