Karyns Aussie Meat Pie

800g minced beef 1/2 tsp. curry powder 2 Tbls. worcestershire sauce(hot sauce) 1 Tbls. tomatoe paste 1/2 cup water 2 Tbls. gravy powder 1 Tbls. soy sauce 1 egg 1 onion chopped(optional)

Pre-heat oven moderate to hot.
Fry onion until tender in saucepan, add minced beef, cook until almost done.
Add all other ingredients that have all been mixed together to the saucepan to the meat. Cook moderately until it thickens, stirring continuously. Allow to cool slightly.
Grease a pie plate and line with pastry, pour meat mixture into pie plate, cover with another layer of pastry, pinch pastry layers together around the edges. Pierce the pastry with a fork, brush pastry with milk.
Bake in moderate to hot oven for 35-40 minutes.
Serve with vegetables or hot chips, or on it's own with sauce or ketchup.
