Pet-Ritz Easy Caramel Apple Pie
10 caramel candies, cut in fourths
1/3 cup flour
3 cups chopped Jonathan or Rome apples
2/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 frozen, regular 9-inch Pet-Ritz pie crust
1/2 cup pecan pieces


Combine caramel candies and flour. Add apples, caramel topping and lemon juice; mix well. Pour into frozen pie crust. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup pecan pieces on top. Bake at 375 degrees on a preheated baking sheet for 40-45 minutes. Do not refrigerate.

My mother-in-law baked this pie for a family gathering one weekend in 1993. We all loved it!
