Rhubarb Cream Pie

2 cups diced rhubarb 3 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 2 Tbls. flour 1 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup sweet cream
|
Beat egg yolks and add cream. Mix salt, sugar and flour together. Add to the egg mixture and pour over rhubarb.
Put into an unbaked pie crust and bake at 400 degrees F. for 10 minutes. Then at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 6 Tbls. sugar and cover the pie with the meringue.
Bake for 30 minutes longer at 300 degrees F.
