Microwave Ham and Noodle Casserole
3 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 cups cubed ham (cooked ham roast)
1/4 cup crushed potato chips

 

Bring 4 cups water and 1 tbsp of cooking oil and 1 teaspoon salt to a full rolling boil in a 3 quart covered glass casserole dish for 6 - 10 minutes in your microwave using high power. Add noodles and cover cooking 8-10 minutes on medium setting in your microwave or until noodles are tender. Drain rinse with hot water and then set aside.

Place butter, onion and celery in a 2 quarter class casserole and microwave about 3 minutes on high or until partly cooked. Stir in remaining ingredients. Sprinkle with potato chips and microwave about 11 minutes on medium high heat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving this dish.
