Absolutely Delicious Roast Chicken Easy Roasted Chicken Halves |

One 4 lb. fryer-roaster Salt Pepper Garlic Powder Oregano Paprika Thyme Sage Lemon juice Parsley Sharp knife Non stick spray olive oil Baking pan
|
Cut the chicken in half with the sharp knife.
Wash insides under running cold water.
Lay skin side down and sprinkle generously with all the spices.
Drizzle the lemon juice over it.
Turn and do the same, skin side up.
Put into the sprayed pan (skin up).
Drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil.
Bake uncovered in 400 degree F. oven for 1-1/2 hours.
If browning too much coverlightly with foil and turn downtemperature to 350 degrees F.
Check every now and then and spoon the drippings over the chicken.
How simple is this! Enjoy!
Note: If you have fresh herbs, so much the better - but dried herbs are fine.
