Chicken Divan

1/4 cup margarine 1/4 cup flour 1 1/2 cups chicken broth 2 Tbls. sherry 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and dash chives, optional 1/2 cup whipping cream, whipped 1/2 cup grated parmesan 1 1/2 pounds fresh brocolli, cooked 5 slices chicken breast 1/2 cup parmesan sprig fresh parsley, thyme, or tarragon as a garnish

Melt margarine and stir in flour to make a paste. Gradually encorporate broth. Boil 1 minute. Take off heat.
Stir in wine and nutmeg. Fold in cream and cheese.
Put brocolli in deep baking dish.
Cover with chicken, then sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 550 broil for 5 minutes.
