Chicken Teriyaki Kabobs Japanese Recipe! |

1 1/2 lb. chicken breasts (skinned and boned) 1 bundle green onions (cut into 1-inch lengths) 1/2 cup soy sauce 2 Tbls. sugar 1 tsp. Oil 1 tsp. minced fresh ginger root 1 clove garlic (minced) 8 Bamboo skewers (or metal)

1. Cut chicken into 1 1/2 inch square pieces and thread each of eight 6 inch bamboo or metal skewers. Alternate with chicken and green onion pieces. Place skewers in shallow pan.
2. Combine soy sauce, sugar, oil, ginger and garlic; pour over skewers and brush chicken thoroughly with sauce. Marinate 30 minutes. Reserve some marinate for later use.
3. Remove skewers and place on rack of broiler pan. Broil 3 minutes. Turn over and brush with reserved marinade. Broil 3 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender. Serve.
