Chicken and Dumplings Quick, Easy, and Always a Favorite! |

4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 Tbls. shortening 1 cup of flour 1/4 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning salt pepper 2 cans cream of chicken soup 3-4 tubes of refrigerated biscuits
|
Mix flour, lemon pepper, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken breasts in the flour mixture. Melt the shortening in a large frying pan. Brown the chicken breasts, cooking about 8-10 minutes. Add the cream of chicken soup. Let simmer for 8-10 minutes. Cover the chicken mixture with the biscuits. Cover the pan and let cook for 12-15 minutes, steaming the biscuits. When biscuits are cooked thru and not doughy inside, serve!
