Hot Bacon Dressing Salad |

1 egg 6 slices bacon 1/2 cup sliced vadalia onion (any sweet onion will work) 1/4 cup white wine vinegar 1/4 cup water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper, course ground 4 tsp. white granulated sugar 8 cups leaf lettuce - washed, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces 6 - 8 radishes, sliced

Hard boil the egg by placing it in a medium pot, cover with cold water and bring to a boil. cook egg for 12 minutes. Cool egg with cold water. peel off shell and and chop. Place bacon in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until brown. Drain, crumble and set aside. Save the bacon grease.
Add onions to skillet with the saved bacon grease and cook until tender. Add bacon, vinegar, water, salt, pepper and sugar. Stir and bring to boil.
Place lettuce in a big bowl. Pour hot dressing over and toss well.
Garnish with egg and radishes and serve warm.
