Sweet and Sour Saurkraut Salad Easy and Keeps for Days! |

1 small head of purple cabbage 1 medium size jar saurkraut 1 cup white sugar
|
Grate the cabbage--I wash and cut cabbage into small wedges-put some in the blender-cover with water and use the grate speed.
Put in a strainer and remove the water.
Place grated cabbage in large bowl.
Add saurkraut and mix together.
Add sugar and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate. Some water will settle to bottom but simply drain excess water off, recover and refrigerate.
This salad is especially good with pork.
