Three Bean Salad salad |

l lb. fresh string beans - washed and cooked until tender/firm l large can chick peas 28 oz. l large can kidney beans 28 oz. 2 large onions sliced into rings l cup oil (not olive oil) l cup sugar l cup vinegar

Boil string beans, drain and set aside.
In a large bowl combine chick peas(drained and rinsed), kidney beans (drained and rinsed), string beans and onions.
Heat to a simmer the oil and vinegar. WHEN SIMMERING ADD SUGAR - NOT BEFORE. Let boil for about l minute.
Pour over bean mixture and mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Enjoy!
