Mixed Grill Sandwiches
California Grillin'
4 sweet Italian sausages (about 1 1/3 lbs.)
2/3 lb. ground turkey
2/3 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
3 Tbs. whole-grain mustard, divided
2 cups sliced button mushrooms
1 small red onion, sliced
2 bell peppers, cored and sliced thin
2 Tbs. olive oil, divided
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, divided
4 hamburger rolls
4 hot dog rolls
4 slices Swiss cheese (about 4 oz.)

 

Heat grill to medium. Parboil sausages 5 min.; drain. In bowl, combine ground turkey, beef and bread crumbs with 1 Tbs. mustard. Shape into 4 burgers. Refrigerate 30 min.

In skillet, cook mushrooms, onions, and peppers in oil 5 min. Add 2 Tbs. vinegar; cook 1 min. Combine remaining vinegar and mustard. Grill burgers and sausages 8 min., basting sausages with mustard mixture.

Serve on rolls with cheese.
