Sloppy Janes
Sloppy Joe
1 pound ground turkey (or beef)
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 green bell pepper chopped
1/2 small onion chopped
1/4 cup real bacon bits
1/2tsp ground cumin
3Tbsp ranch dressing
1/3cup BBQ sauce of choice
Grated Parmesan or bread crumbs if needed

Cook ground meat in a frying pan with 1/2 cup water and black pepper. Break up the meat as small as possible, or to preference, the water will help the process. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until brown.
Chop onions and bell pepper while it cooks.
Drain the excess liquid. Add Garlic powder and worcestershire sauce. Simmer for a minute and add the chopped vegetables, and bacon bits.
When vegetables are tender, season the mixture with cumin (and chili powder, optional). Add your favorite BBQ sauce and ranch dressing, mix completely.
If the mixture is too runny, I like to add grated parmesan or bread crumbs to absorb that extra liquid.
Scoop meat onto a bed of potato chips, or more traditionally onto a bun (whole wheat).
Eat and enjoy.
