Alfredo Pasta Sauce

1-1/2 tsp/7.5 mL Grapeseed Oil 1/4 cup/60 mL chopped green onion 1 Tbsp/15 mL all-purpose flour 3/4 to 1 tsp/4 to 5 mL Garlic Liquid Spice 1 can (12 oz/340 g) evaporated skim milk 1/2 cup/125 mL grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp/2.5 mL Black Pepper Salt, to taste

Sauté green onion in vegetable oil until tender. Stir in the flour and Liquid Spice until smooth. Slowly stir in evaporated skim milk.
Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and begins to thicken, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in cheese and pepper. Serve over hot pasta.
Makes 1-1/2 cups /375 ml sauce, 1/2 cup/125 ml per serving.
