Chiwappa Creek BBQ Sauce
BBQ Sauce
1 lg. onion, finely chopped (in this case, size does matter)
2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
3 Tbls. apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
1 1/3 cup bottled Chili sauce, Heinz or any brand
2 Tbls. brown sugar
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
3 Tbls. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 Tbls. mustard
1/2 lemon, the juice
1 can of beer, cooks choice
Black pepper, to taste

The name of this BBQ sauce comes from the creek which runs along my Grandfathers farm in Mississippi.

In a saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in the butter. When the onions are transparent, add everything else.

Bring to a boil then simmer for about 15 minutes OR until you can't stand the beautiful smell.

Let it cool awhile or not, then use on your favorite grilled meats.

This is a barbecue sauce you will just NOT believe!
