Spicy Pasta Sauce
a delicious blend of tomatoes and bacon
* 1 can of plum tomatoes
* 2 rashers of bacon
* 1/2 an onion
* 2 cloves of garlic
* 1 1/2 tsp of oregano
* 3 leaves of basil
* 1/2 a tsp of allspice
* A pinch of salt and pepper

 

Heat the gas hob to '6'. Chop up and fry the tomatoes until slightly brown. Add the tomatoes and bacon, and leave to simmer. After 10 minutes, add crushed garlic cloves, and seasoning. Toss in 1 tsp of oregano and allspice, and simmer for a further 10-15 minutes. Blitz in a liquidizer until thick and smooth. Pour into chosen container, or onto ready pasta. Rip basil and throw over, along with the rest of the oregano.
