Ultimate Pasta Sauce
1 28 oz can whole tomatoes, 1 small tin tomato paste, 2 cans water from tomato paste,3/4 lb lean mince beef, 4 cloves garlic, 1 small onion, 5 leaves fresh basil, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, pinch of salt and pepper, 1 bay leaf.
 

Brown the beef and drain. In a blender, combine all the other ingredients and blend until smooth. Add this to the beef and simmer for 20 min. Excellent for lasagna or any other pasta!
