Red Wine Shrimp Scampi
1/4 cup of red wine
1 lb of thawed shrimp
2 tsp butter
1 tsp lemon juice
2-3 cloves of fresh garlic or 2-3 tbs of minced garlic
salt and pepper

 

Prep

Preheat oven on bake at 350 degrees. De-shell and prepare shrimp.

Cook

In small round cake pan add butter, red wine, and lemon juice. Place in oven till butter is melted and starts to bubble. Remove from oven. Arange shrimp neatly in pan in a circular spiral design. Press garlic cloves into small sauce cup or minced garlic and spoon garlic particles over shrimp evenly. Place back in oven until shrimp are even cooked. Remove from oven and serve immediately. Serve in baking pan or remove into another serving dish. Add salt and pepper to taste.
