Salmon Mush A Spokane Indian favorite |

6 oz can of Alaskan Salmon 1 cup Quaker Quick Oats 1 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup cold milk Seasoning salt or Cajun spices to taste
|
Boil water and add salmon and oats. Reduce heat to medium and stir for 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Add cold milk and then seasonings to taste. (Inspired by author Sherman Alexie's story,Saint Junior.)
