Trout with Mushroom Stuffing Given to Me By a Charterboat Captain! |

Trout, whole and dressed 1/2 cup minced celery 3 Tbls. butter or margarine 1/4 cup water 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. dill weed 4 cups day old bread crumbs 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms salt and pepper, to taste
|
Cook the celery and onion in the butter and water until slightly soft. Stir in the sage and dill, and pour over the bread crumbs, mixing slightly. Fold in mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Fill the fish cavity and wrap in aluminum foil. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees F. for 20-30 minutes!
